I am a career educator and artist, currently a core faculty member (Illustration) at Southwest University of Visual Arts in Albuquerque, NM. I have an active gallery art practice and regularly show mixed media, sculpture and digital work.
I have also had a successful career as a commercial artist, with a number of illustration, comic, and graphic design credits to my name. A full CV is available upon request.
I am an active, engaged teacher. I enjoy guiding students through their own creative process. Gentle and patient, I use targeted questions and critique in order to help my students reach their creative goals.

Some Supplies You Might Need
Students seeking instruction in digital art must have access to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/ Illustrator in particular), Procreate, or other digital art program.
Students seeking instruction in illustration or drawing may use the media of their choosing.
Students who wish to learn about the creative process and concept development need to be willing to write
